Why Like Her?

1. She's helpful. She tries so hard to help Raito in any way she can. Sometimes she can't handle things (like not seeing him for a period of time, or him dating other girls), but nobody's perfect. She's not an emotionless slave who can just let things make her feel terrible. However, when her feelings aren't getting in the way, she's very helpful! She gave up half of her life span twice just to help. How many people honestly care that much? I think that's a respectable trait.
2. She's realistic. She's not a fake, perfectly created character. She has her flaws (which honestly aren't that bad), as well as her attractive qualities. She has talents, but isn't amazing at every single thing she does. She's not a super-genius, but she's got enough brains to make a living (notice how she's a model, yet not throwing her life away? Common sense is a smartness, too.)
3. She's loyal. I'll say it once, I'll say it again. As much as Raito doesn't deserve Misa, she stays loyal to him from the moment she meets him. Unlike most people, she's not running around, going after different guys every week. If what she is isn't a good thing, then I hope you haters enjoy being heartbroken by cheaters. Some might call her letting Raito use her "stupid," but she's dedicating her life to him. If that's the choice she, or any real person makes, just leave it. That's what *she* chose.
4. She's KIND. Ever notice how she's never mean to anyone, unless they are an enemy of Raito? Go watch and read the series again. She doesn't look for flaws in people as long as she's not jealous of them. Lots of celebrities can be snobs, and want so much to make them happy (and all she wants is to be loved), yet she's complimenting people all the time. What a girl!
5. She's a young girl in true love. She's possessive, easily jealous, and quite taken by Raito. Many young girls are like this about their crushes (even some guys), so you Misa-a-likes can relate to her. I watch Death Note with my dad, and pretty much whenever she does or says something, my dad looks at me and I laugh because I am *SO* like her. Wow, you Misa haters...you never get jealous when your crush is hitting on someone else? I don't think you guys are God.
6. She has strong emotions. Raito doesn't love her for the 7 years or so the series takes place, and she puts up with it! It's amazing. I'd be having break downs all the time. Of course, it's a possibility that we don't see her upset all the time, but maybe she is. Even still, she doesn't just get upset and leave Raito when he's a time in need because she isn't getting the one thing she wants from him. What spirit she has!
7. She's adorable. Everything she does is simply cute. I don't see how it's "slutty" at all. She has a great sense of fashion and knows how to dress the way she likes. The way she talks is cute. I see a picture of Misa and I automatically think, "how cute!" She's such a happy, upbringing character. I love how she makes you feel good inside, unlike certain other characters -coughRaitocough-.
8. She's not an idiot. Like I said before, she has common sense. But also, she was the one to find Raito, and she was prepared to dress up to make it look like she wasn't in the same area as he was. She got Higuchi to confess about being Kira easily, when no one else could. As well as other times I can't think of right now. ^^
